Driven by a passion for global exploration and business, Piero Zipoli founded IES Group in 1984, making it one of the first Italian event companies dedicated to helping Italian industries break into international markets. Initially starting as an agency, IES quickly specialized in the oil and gas sector, establishing itself as a trusted partner for major global events and solidifying its reputation over the following 40 years.

This strategic focus allowed IES to build strong relationships and consistently deliver exceptional results for both clients and event organizers, proudly showcasing industrial excellence on the world stage. As demand for energy-related events grew, IES expanded its footprint, successfully organizing events in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Cyprus, and Italy. Today, IES manages a diverse portfolio of over 60 international events, positioning itself as a strategic ally for both Italian and global companies looking to strengthen their international presence.

In response to evolving industry needs, IES launched IES Works in 2010, a division offering comprehensive turnkey solutions. IES Works has grown steadily, managing everything from stand design and construction to logistics and project management, ensuring that each event is executed with unmatched passion, excellence, and innovation.

After 40 years of visionary leadership from Piero, the management team continues to expand, now including Daniele and Martina Zipoli, as well as Vincenzo Fetto. Together with Piero, they are committed to ensuring that the vision—born from a desire to explore the world over four decades ago—continues to thrive. Their shared commitment to passion, innovation, and excellence drives IES forward as a leader in the international event industry.
