In a quarter characterized by global economic fluctuations and changing consumer tastes, Miu Miu has solidified its status as the leading brand, topping the Lyst Index for the second quarter of 2025 (Q2 2025). The brand’s impressive resurgence is attributed to its unique combination of nostalgic prep styles and contemporary flair, exemplified by its suede logo-embossed loafers, which ranked as the fourth most sought-after item this quarter.
Loewe, which claimed the top position in Q1 2025, has slipped to second place. The brand’s reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and strong celebrity endorsements has kept it in the public eye, maintaining significant consumer engagement. Saint Laurent continues to hold the third spot, buoyed by its signature sharp glamour and ongoing success in accessories and footwear.
This season, The Row has made significant strides, achieving its highest ranking on the Index to date. The surge in popularity of its Dune sandal, now recognized as the season’s hottest product, has been remarkable. This $690 flip-flop experienced a staggering 162 percent increase in searches following actor Jonathan Bailey’s public appearance in June sporting the style, according to reports from London-based Lyst.
In the loungewear category, Skims’ Tank Top secured second place, reinforcing the brand’s dominance. Meanwhile, Adidas’ Adicolor Sprinter Shorts ranked third, enjoying a 121 percent increase in demand driven by their retro-sport resurgence and prominent celebrity visibility.
Footwear continues to reign supreme, with six out of the top ten products falling within this category. From Isabel Marant’s Y2K wedge sneakers to Vibram’s V-Soul flats, the footwear trend indicates a consumer shift toward bold, statement pieces — whether they are nostalgic, performance-oriented, or quirky.
Burberry made a noteworthy return to the list of hottest brands after a year-long absence, largely due to its daring ‘Cool Britannia’ campaign. Chloe also experienced a 33 percent uptick in searches on Lyst, while COS reported strong gains for Q2. Additionally, Pucci is rising quickly just outside the Top 20, with its search volume nearly doubling in Q2, thanks to the increasing popularity of euro-core beachwear and endorsements from high-profile figures like Hailey Bieber and Dua Lipa.
