STOCKHOLM— April 25, 2025 — Syre, the textile impact company hyperscaling textile-to-textile recycling, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam to establish a large-scale recycling facility. This partnership aims to enhance sustainable practices in the region and promote the circular economy within the textile industry.

The proposed gigascale recycling plant is designed to significantly contribute to recycling efforts, ensuring that a greater volume of textiles is redirected away from landfills. This initiative aligns with SYRE’s commitment to environmental sustainability and resource conservation.

Officials from both SYRE and Binh Dinh Province expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the potential economic benefits and job opportunities the project will create in the local community. The MoU represents a critical step towards advancing recycling technologies and furthering the goals of a sustainable textile industry in Vietnam.

As the project develops, stakeholders are optimistic about its positive impact on the environment and the economy, demonstrating a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in the textile sector.
