AI Summary

Renfro Brands has expanded its collaboration with Inspectorio to roll out AI-driven workflows that support responsible sourcing, supply chain compliance, and traceability. The Renfro-Inspectorio expansion is designed to replace manual processes and help the company address an increasingly complex regulatory environment across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Scope of the Renfro-Inspectorio expansion

This latest phase builds on an existing relationship in which Renfro Brands already uses Inspectorio’s Quality Risk Management solution. The new solutions introduce AI-driven workflows to oversee supplier performance, strengthen supply chain compliance, and manage regulatory requirements more effectively, with traceability integrated across operations.

Company background

Headquartered in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Renfro Brands manufactures and markets legwear and apparel for a range of internationally recognised brands. Founded in 1921, the company manages a broad portfolio of owned, licensed, and manufactured brands.

Industry context

The decision to extend the partnership comes as apparel companies continue to emphasise compliance in response to ongoing changes in global sourcing regulations. According to Inspectorio’s 2026 State of Supply Chain Report, over half of retail supply chain leaders have identified regulatory changes as a key focus every year for the past three years, with 52% viewing it as a top priority for 2026.

Inspectorio states that its technology is equipped to help Renfro Brands keep pace with evolving social and environmental requirements at each sourcing location, supporting responsible sourcing and regulatory requirements as the Renfro-Inspectorio expansion moves forward.

Executive statements

“Renfro Brands is deeply committed to thoughtful brand stewardship with 105 years of manufacturing heritage. Expanding our partnership with Inspectorio was an easy decision, based on our positive experience working with them and their extensive knowledge of our industry. “Working with Inspectorio, we will continue to deliver quality, innovation and style across our diverse brand portfolio while ensuring the highest levels of social and environmental compliance,” said Todd Roeder, vice president of compliance and vendor services at Renfro Brands.

“As one of the largest global manufacturers of legwear and apparel, Renfro Brands is setting a new standard for AI-driven supply chain operations and sustainability. We’re proud to strengthen and expand Inspectorio’s partnership with Renfro Brands, one that has been built on mutual trust and a commitment to delivering impactful solutions across a complex global supplier network,” said Inspectorio CEO Chirag Patel.
