ALPHARETTA, Ga., August 29, 2025 — Arclin has announced a definitive agreement to purchase DuPont’s Aramids business, which includes the renowned brands Kevlar® and Nomex®, for an estimated $1.8 billion. This acquisition will enhance Arclin’s portfolio by expanding into sectors such as aerospace, electrical infrastructure, electric vehicles, personal protective equipment, and defense, while further solidifying its existing strengths in construction, infrastructure, fire protection, and transportation. Arclin’s advanced technologies play a crucial role in producing essential products that protect and enhance daily life. The deal is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending standard closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Arclin is backed by an affiliate of TJC, L.P.
