BRÜCKNER, a leading global manufacturer of textile machinery, has successfully launched its own subsidiary in India on June 1st, 2025. This strategic initiative aims to bolster the company’s global footprint and tap into the vital Indian textile market. Since 2007, BRÜCKNER has been represented in India by Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Ltd, formerly known as VOLTAS. With Universal’s exceptional expertise and support, the BRÜCKNER brand has established a strong presence and significantly expanded its customer base in the region.

“We could not have imagined a better partner in the Indian market and are very grateful to Universal for their support and constant guidance over nearly 20 successful years,” stated Regina Brückner, owner and CEO of the Brückner Group. “India is a key market for the textile industry and offers many opportunities for us, firstly due to the growing local demand for textiles and secondly due to the enormous potential for innovation. The new branch enables us to be even closer to our customers,” she added.

The decision to establish a subsidiary in India comes on the heels of numerous sales successes over recent years, making this expansion a natural and anticipated progression. Brückner Textile India Private Limited is eager to strengthen relationships with its customers in India and to contribute to the country’s evolving textile landscape.

The Indian textile industry has experienced significant growth, driven by increasing domestic consumption and a shift towards sustainable practices. BRÜCKNER’s presence in India is expected to enhance collaboration and innovation, providing local manufacturers access to advanced textile technology. Additionally, this move aligns with the Indian government’s initiatives to promote local manufacturing and boost the economy through the ‘Make in India’ campaign. Overall, BRÜCKNER’s entry into the Indian market signifies a commitment to fostering partnerships and driving advancements within the textile sector.
