Authentic Brands Group has entered a long-term strategic partnership with International Apparel Corporation (IAC) to accelerate Dockers brand expansion across the Americas, positioning IAC to scale the label through broader regional distribution and deeper market penetration.
Under the agreement, IAC will oversee manufacturing and distribution for key Dockers categories, spanning men’s and women’s lifestyle apparel as well as accessories. The partners said they have also established a dedicated platform designed to help Dockers move into new retail channels and cultural contexts across Central America, Ecuador, the Andean region and selected Caribbean markets.
Authentic Brands Group entertainment and international president Corey Salter said: “IAC is an industry leader with deep operational expertise and a successful track record of scaling lifestyle brands across the region. We are excited to partner with them and are confident in their ability to bring Dockers to new consumers while preserving the brand’s unique DNA.”
Authentic said the collaboration is intended to combine Dockers’ global brand recognition with IAC’s on-the-ground capability, including established retail relationships and insight into local consumer demand. The company added that the partnership will “drive meaningful growth” while maintaining “strong market relevance.”
The deal builds on Authentic’s broader plans for Dockers following its definitive agreement to acquire Dockers’ intellectual property from Levi Strauss & Co. in May last year. With IAC now taking on production and go-to-market execution in the region, the partners are aiming to translate brand awareness into sustained sell-through as Dockers brand expansion across the Americas progresses.
