The International Apparel Federation (IAF) has entered a strategic alliance with Infor, a leading cloud software provider specializing in industry-specific solutions. This collaboration aims to strengthen apparel traceability solutions while promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance within the apparel and footwear sectors.

This initiative is designed to assist over 100,000 manufacturers worldwide, particularly multi-tier suppliers connected to IAF’s national association members.

Infor and IAF will work together to support these apparel and footwear manufacturers in managing the growing complexities of sustainability regulations and buyer-driven requirements.

IAF Secretary General Matthijs Crietee remarked, “This collaboration brings together IAF’s powerful global network and Infor Nexus’ platform scale and expertise in supply chain traceability and intelligence. Together, we aim to ease the compliance burden on manufacturers and promote practical innovation that benefits the entire industry.”

The partnership is anchored in the Infor Nexus multi-enterprise business network platform and its NexTrace solution, specifically designed to enhance apparel traceability solutions in complex, multi-tier supply chains.

Heidi Benko, Infor Nexus’s Vice President of Product Management and Strategy, stated, “Collaborating with IAF allows us to deliver meaningful solutions to a vast segment of the global apparel and footwear manufacturing base. Together, we can unlock scalable traceability and compliance while driving new efficiencies and business value.”

Benko further emphasized, “IAF’s mission closely aligns with our commitment at Infor Nexus to support manufacturers through scalable, digital-first solutions. This partnership creates a powerful platform to turn regulatory pressure into opportunity—particularly for those manufacturers who have traditionally operated in the blind spots of complex global supply chains.”

With this strategic partnership, IAF and Infor are set to significantly improve apparel traceability solutions, ensuring that manufacturers can meet evolving sustainability compliance requirements while enhancing their operational effectiveness in the industry.
