BANGKOK, Thailand — October 9, 2025 — Indorama Ventures has introduced deja Care, an innovative line of certified PET fibers and filament yarns designed specifically for skin-contact apparel, further enhancing its commitment to sustainable fashion production.
The new deja Care sustainable fibers have undergone rigorous testing for 17 harmful chemicals and adhere to several international safety standards, including OEKO-TEX Standard 100, DIN EN 71-3, and ISO 17294-2. This ensures that the fibers are safe for consumer use.
Under the deja™ Care brand, Indorama Ventures utilizes more eco-friendly chemicals during the PET polymerization process. This approach allows customers and brand owners to provide skin-friendly solutions such as certified maternity wear, underwear, infant and children’s clothing, school uniforms, and essential fashion items that come into direct contact with the skin.
The Bangkok-based sustainable chemical firm emphasizes that these fibers are produced in-house at its facilities across Asia, which allows for enhanced control and traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Indorama Ventures highlights that deja Care sustainable fibers have already been successfully employed in hygiene products, such as baby wipes and diapers, and now present clothing brands with an opportunity to embrace “responsible fashion.”
Additionally, fabric manufacturers stand to gain from improved wastewater management and reduced sludge disposal during the production process, promoting more sustainable practices within the textile supply chain.
Indorama Ventures asserts that the launch of deja Care aligns with the increasing consumer and brand demand for certified, environmentally friendly materials that prioritize both performance and safety in fashion. By introducing deja Care sustainable fibers, Indorama Ventures is paving the way for a more responsible and sustainable future in the textile industry.
