USPA Global is well-pleased to share the acquisition of Aydinli Hazir Giyim San. Tic. A.S. – Aydinli Group by HRK Holding A.S. – Saat & Saat. Both entities are the licensing partners of U.S. Polo Assn. – the multi-billion-dollar sports brand of USPA Global and also the official brand of the United States Polo Association – USPA. The acquisition of Aydinli as one of the brand’s largest partners now offers access to over 50 countries, including the likes of Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe as well as North Africa.
Due to this acquisition of Aydinli, Saat & Saat is expanding the regional portfolio of the company in addition to its very successful watch business through entering the global apparel industry. As U.S. Polo expands presence with over almost 450 U.S. Polo Assn. stores along with multiple branded digital sites, it is going to continue with its record growth. Aydinli is at present one of the leading retail powerhouses across the region, having quite a prominent growth potential and also a well-established sales network that spans monobrand stores and department stores, besides the e-commerce channels.
Michael Prince, the president and CEO of USPA Global, who manages the U.S. Polo Assn. brand across the globe, stated that “we would like to congratulate Ramazan Kaya, the founder and CEO of Saat & Saat, on the recent acquisition of Aydinli. As a long-time partner of U.S. Polo Assn., we believe this strategic transition will provide our global sports brand the opportunity to elevate and expand our business, targeting $1 billion in retail sales across the region in the coming years.”
“I would also like to personally thank Mr. Seref Safa, past chairman of Aydinli, for his leadership and TMSF for their support over the years. Together, we built a strong foundation that will lead to a bright future,” Prince further added.
After the successful closing process, the CEO of Saat & Saat, Ramazan Kaya, is going to serve as CEO of Aydinli Group.
In his statement related to the acquisition, he opined, “We’re proud to take this important step in our long-standing partnership with U.S. Polo Assn., expanding and strengthening our presence in one of the most dynamic retail markets in the world. This acquisition allows us to accelerate growth, enhance our capabilities, and position both our company and the brand for a powerful next phase in Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and North Africa.”
Kaya further added, “This milestone reflects our shared vision with U.S. Polo Assn. – to elevate an iconic global brand while continuing to innovate and inspire through the lifestyle it represents. The team at Saat & Saat is energized by the opportunity to shape the future together.”
It is worth noting that the partnership with Aydinli and U.S. Polo Assn. started way back in 1997, with quite a fast-paced growth throughout the region for almost 30 years. Among the partnerships, there were many successes in the flagship store of Istanbul – Istinye Park U.S. Polo Assn. store, which was completed by Aydinli in 2024. Moreover, U.S. Polo Assn. has also gone ahead and launched around a dozen websites that are brand specific within the region in order to elevate their digital offerings for customers much further and also offer easier access when it comes to their product offerings, with the early outcomes exceeding expectations and also reinforcing the authentic connection that exists between the sport and the brand.
U.S. Polo Assn., being one of Turkey and the Middle East’s leading casualwear power brands, happens to have a retail footprint of over 1,500 points of sale throughout more than 50 countries in Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and also North Africa. By being one of the global, multi-billion-dollar sports brand’s largest markets – Turkey and the Middle East, the anticipation is that U.S. Polo Assn. is going to be a billion-dollar brand in this region in the years to come. Besides the fact that U.S. Polo expands presence across Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and also North Africa, when we talk of international footprint, the U.S. Polo Assn. brand is present across 190 countries and also boasts of a global retail sale of over $2.5 billion.
