The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) has issued a stark warning regarding the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the fashion industry. The organization emphasizes that these businesses are critical to the UK’s fashion landscape, yet they are struggling with rising costs, supply chain issues, and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
