Pentland Brands, the UK-based group behind Speedo, Berghaus and other sports and lifestyle labels, is introducing Inspectorio’s digital solutions to strengthen sourcing, compliance and supply chain visibility across its international operations.
The company is implementing Inspectorio’s Responsible Sourcing & Compliance and Traceability & Transparency platforms as part of a broader effort to centralise supply chain information and improve oversight of suppliers and materials.
The technology is designed to bring sourcing and compliance activities onto a single platform, supporting audit management, data verification and product-level traceability. Pentland Brands operates a diverse brand portfolio with products sold in more than 190 countries, making consistent supply chain monitoring increasingly important.
The Pentland Brands supply chain initiative is also intended to help the company respond to changing requirements covering sustainability, labour practices and corporate transparency. By consolidating information, teams can gain greater visibility into supplier performance and material compliance across different levels of the sourcing network.
Inspectorio said its AI-enabled platform is used by more than 40,000 retailers and suppliers worldwide. Its implementation at Pentland Brands comes as apparel, footwear and sportswear companies face increasing demands for documented evidence of responsible sourcing.
Inspectorio’s 2026 State of Supply Chain Report found that more than half of supply chain leaders are experiencing significant pressure around compliance execution, highlighting the operational challenges companies face as regulatory requirements expand.
Richard Mason, sustainability director at Pentland Brands, said: “Operating responsibly has been part of Pentland Brands’ mission for decades, and we want to keep setting a standard in today’s competitive, global market.
“Inspectorio gives our teams and supplier partners the evidence to back our commitment to sustainability across every brand and tier of our supply chain, so responsibility is something we can demonstrate and improve, with flexibility to adapt in the future.”
The adoption comes against a backdrop of tighter sustainability and ethical business requirements in Europe and other major markets. For Pentland Brands, greater digital visibility could support compliance reporting while providing a more consistent approach to responsible sourcing across its brands.
The Pentland Brands supply chain strategy also reflects the wider shift among international fashion and sportswear companies towards technology-enabled traceability as they prepare for evolving regulatory requirements.
Inspectorio CEO Chirag Patel said: “Pentland Brands manages a complex supply chain across its portfolio of iconic brands, and our platform is uniquely positioned to help as the group scales internationally. We’re proud to be part of Pentland’s journey and to support responsible operations across its organisation.”
Inspectorio is also scheduled to present its technology and supply chain insights at the Cascale Annual Meeting 2026 in Athens in September.
